Is Anyone There?
A directory lists names. This checks whether any of them can actually see someone. Search a plan's directory the way a member would, call every listing with the same script, and the tool sorts what you find and writes the summary.
Define the search
Search once, exactly as a member would, and keep these the same for every listing. Changing the filters mid-audit makes the numbers meaningless.
Save a dated screenshot or PDF of the directory results before you start. Give each listing a code (L-01, L-02…) in the order it appears. Never enter a client's name, Medicaid ID, diagnosis, or anything that could identify them.
Calls
Results
Counts are of unique clinicians, so duplicate listings count once. Unreachable listings stay "unknown," never "unavailable."
From listing to appointment
The last line uses the federal standard for routine outpatient mental health appointments: no more than 10 business days from the request (42 CFR 438.68(e)). It applies to Nebraska Medicaid plans starting with the first rating period on or after July 9, 2027. Business days here skip weekends but not holidays.
